Service Policy

All therapy-related discussions are confidential. The only time I would break the confidentiality is if I think someone might be at risk of harm. Confidentiality also extends to working with under-aged clients, otherwise it will be difficult to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. Parents/legal guardians will be informed if the situation requires an intervention for safety reasons.

Any notes are kept behind a password and/or locked in a filing cabinet.

No personal details or case notes are provided to third parties unless required by law. Report writing for court purposes will be charged separately.

Cancellation policy: 

if the appointment has not been cancelled within 24 hrs, then a full fee will be charged.

Unfortunately, I am not available for phone support.

Before I start working with a young person, I would like to meet with the parent/legal guardian to discuss whether this is the right service for their child.
